ARTIST STATEMENT

Like most visual artists, I discovered at an early age that I could communicate with drawings more effectively than with words. Since then, I have expanded on the idea that a complete visual world philosophy is possible through the use of introspection and personal symbols. Emerging from a decade of dark works bordering on horror, my recent paintings focus on the disturbing magic behind the veils of reality, rooted in a warped outcast mythology for absurd and confusing times.
